Synopsis:
Philipp, is happily dating and living with his girlfriend until she introduces him to one of her old friends, who also happens to be an old friend of Philipp's. The memory of what they shared together re-awakens something in Philipp who begins to struggle with his sexuality.
One night he accidentally stumbles into a gay pub, meets and promptly falls in love with a young man. However, the transformation of lifestyle isn't as easier for him as he might have hoped for.
Reportedly the first film to come out of East Germany to deal openly with gay issues, it ends with a strong and poignant message when Philipp is told sternly that he must be proud of who and what he is because homosexuals are the last minority left who have to fight for their right to be equal.
