Synopsis:

Based on the famous play by Martin Sherman, this film is set in Berlin before, during and after the height of the Nazi party in Germany. The movie is based around a character called Max, who is both gay and Jewish. He's sent to Dachau concentration camp and tries to deny he is gay, thus getting yellow star of David (the symbol for Jews) instead of a pink triangle (the one for gays). In camp he falls in love with a fellow prisoner called Horst, who wears his pink label with pride.
